Lots of talk about the American dream here, but the truth is that for me the American dream doesn't exist because of the broken healthcare system. My kids have pre-existing conditions that make my family virtually uninsurable on the open market. So, no option for me to go off and start my own business or work for a small start-up regardless of how smart, innovative or hard-working I am. That's the reality and I don't understand at all how that reality is good for the American economy.

I agree that "Repeal It!" sounds to be too firmly oppositional to be productive. Repealing acts of congress simply on the basis of who was in charge when it was enacted is partisan politics at its best.

the fact is that we do need health care reform and the shame is that the senate can not act like adults and do what is best for everyone. so sick of everyone saying it is Obama who put this country into deep debt what was everyone doing for the last 8 years apparently not anything to reduce spending or to reduce the cost of health care or anything to stop the credit card companies from charging ridiculous fees and percentage rates... where does it stop. if not taxing the rich works then why didnt it work and how did we end up where we are now.. we need people in Washington that can come together and forget about what party they belong to and worry about the people who hired them.
