Energy
Here is a little secret. Everything we do entails energy, from growing and transporting our food, to safe and efficient transportation of our families, to the production of our medicines.
This is why energy is vital to our national security and important to economic growth and job creation. We must allow Americans to capture the energy that they have, whether that energy is oil, natural gas, or clean coal. This will create a huge number of jobs in Pennsylvania, allow U.S. businesses to be more competitive globally, reduce gas prices and other energy costs, and decrease our overall dependence on foreign energy producers who do not share our same values.
Not only do we have a responsibility to provide future generations with a debt free country, we also have a responsibility to ensure that future generations inherit a safe and clean environment.
Without a doubt, we can uphold this responsibility, while at the same time, achieving energy independence.
